Contest Theme: WE ALL NEED TREES!
Sheri Daniels and UNWNRD sponsored the 2016 Poster Contest again this year. She is standing with Trinity B. a local winner with her poster that will headed to Lincoln to be judged by other students across the state. The 2nd place CIS student was Taylor K. in 3rd Grade. Congratulations to both students!
The Nebraska Association of Resources Districts along with Nebraska's National Resources Districts provide K-12th grade students with an opportunity to share their thoughts about soil, water and related natural resources issues. It also highlights the educational outreach efforts of conservation districts and their state conservation associations, auxiliaries and/or agencies.
Posters were judged on the following criteria:
- Conservation message (50 percent)
- Visual effectiveness (30 percent)
- Originality (10 percent)
- Universal appeal (10 percent)
