A bill to make a national day of mourning on September 11th was introduced in the U.S. House on October 25, 2001, but it wasn’t actually declared as Patriot Day until 2002. Today, the American flag is flown at half-staff at the White House as well as at all U.S. government buildings.

Whether the school vehicle is driven by the traditional school bus driver or a special education teacher or a cheerleading sponsor or a maintenance worker, it doesn’t matter, all employee types need driving safety training.
