A TRIBUTE TO GOOD MANNERS!What a wonderful job third graders did at the annual "Manners Tea Party" at Chadron Intermediate School. Culminating a study of traditions and manners, students celebrated with a candlelit party using tea sets, and cloth napkins. Desserts and tea sandwiches were served. Parents were the servers and provided the food. This has been a tradition in 3rd grade for around fifteen years! Toasts were made by the students and fun was had by all!

The students were so incredibly excited to get a chance to talk to her and were intent listeners through the whole thing.
Echoes of an
Echoes of an Era Paul Siebert, an author and musician, visited our school today. He told us the story of his grandpa's journey from Russia to Nebraska through the use of music. He talked about the Nebraska state flag. This was such a great experience for the fourth graders because they study the history of Nebraska throughout the year. A Hammer dulcimer, guitar, and banjo were some of the musical instruments Mr. Siebert played during the presentation.
