The Chadron FFA Chapter was represented well on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 at WNCC (VIRTUAL) contest. Hopes were high for an in person event in Scottsbluff (where we routinely shine) but, it was not meant to be this time. However, a big congratulations goes to our members for stepping up and having the courage to compete anyway. Teams competed in welding, ag sales, floriculture and livestock management. The welding team had four welds to create and take an online test.

On Tuesday, December 8th, Mr. Bradley’s Anatomy and Physiology class performed a lab, to emphasize their recent studies in the urinary system. The lab, in which simulated urine was used, was conducted to perform a urinalysis. A urinalysis is a test of urine used to detect medical issues, drug usage, and pregnancy. The class used the lab to examine the simulated urine and diagnose different “patients” with medical conditions, based on the symptoms these “patients” exhibited in their urine.

Circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic are constantly changing and the circumstances vary from community to community. The health and safety of students, staff, and local communities remain the priority of the NSAA as we provide opportunities to participate in the winter sports season.
We are looking for instructors in the Chadron-area. As the flyer indicates, the cost associated with the Driver Education Endorsement will be reimbursed by the NSC after a commitment to teach for the Center. Classes will be scheduled so they complement the instructors' professional and personal schedules. The salary for driver education instruction is quite competitive.
